Why O&U Tuition?

We believe education support should be easy to access, easy to afford and easy to fit into a schedule. With that belief, we’ve created a seamless environment that allows students to progress with little interference and plenty of support.

How do I contact you?

You can contact us via our Contact Us page on this site about any inquiries that can’t be answered here in the FAQ section.

Do you help with 11+ application process?

We only prepare students so that they are better equipped to take the 11+ exams during our sessions.

What subjects do you offer?

We offer a range of different classes and can still support students if particular classes are not available. Our full list of subjects can be found on our Subjects and Packages page however, if there is a subject that you’d like that isn’t listed, contact us and we will accommodate as best as we can.

Payment and booking

How do I book sessions?

Sessions can be booked directly from the website through our Subjects and Packages page. Just select a session and follow the process to book a class.

Is there a registration fee?

No fee to register! Register your interest for free through our Register With Us page.

How much does it cost?

For all our classes, our prices per hour are no more than £12

What is included in the fees?

Our fees cover the live sessions only and support from the teacher.

How would I know payment has gone through?

We will be sending a confirmation message through email. Make sure to check your Junk Mail to ensure the email doesn’t get lost in there.

How do I make enquiries about finance?

Email us at any time and we will get back to you as soon as possible to give you any information you need to know. Go to the Contact Us page to get in touch.

Can I pay in advanced for multiple weeks and sessions?

Definitely! Just go through the booking process again on our site or contact us directly for the sessions you want to pay for.

How do I remove my account details?

It’s quick and easy. Contact us and we will promptly remove any details we have retained

When do I need to pay?

You can pay up until the day of the session

When can I start?

As soon as possible!

Do I have to block book sessions?

You can book as many sessions as you want. However, there is no obligation to do so. Book the sessions you want.

About the sessions

Will there be adult classes?

Yes. There will be 18+ classes.

Do the sessions cover the whole specification of each subject?

The sessions are designed to go over the expected skills and topics outlined in the national curriculum and specifications for specific subjects.

About teachers

Quality Assurance for our teachers

All teachers who work with us are DBS checked and, in the vast majority of cases, are qualified teachers with significant teaching experience. We also ensure that teachers are proficient at using the required technology to ensure that sessions run smoothly.

How is quality of teaching ensured?

One of the key aspects our teachers embody is understanding the student. They are trained to identify where misconceptions are and to make the sessions clear as possible. Students are asked key questions throughout to draw these misconceptions out so students build off of each new teaching point.

Supporting students

What is expected from me as a parent/carer?

All that you need to do as a parent is encourage your child, provide a distraction free environment and avoid booking holiday during the class period.
